The Naval Forces Command organizes a meeting on the logistic support and maritime operations efficiency improvement
Within the framework of implementing the instruction procedures of the People’s National Army forces preparation for 2025-2026, the Naval Forces Command organized in February 2nd, 2026, a seminar entitled with « Logistic support in the Naval Forces, case study :Logisitc preparation for the implementation of a naval instruction campaign », at the Naval Forces Command headquarters « Chahid Souidani Boudjemaa ».
Mr. The Major-General Mahfoud BENMEDDAH Naval Forces Commander supervised the opening of works of this seminar with the presence of high officials and specialized officers from different People’s National Army components notably those active in the fields of logistic support.
The seminar program includes a number of conferences and specialized interventions which deal with logistic support challenges in maritime operations, organizing, planning and logistic resources management for operational support, and logistic preparation for naval instruction campaigns according to application models in addition to the role of information systems and smart logistics in improving the logistic support system performance.
This meeting aims to highlighting the importance of logistic support and its strategic role in ensuring the operational readiness particularly in terms of preparing and implementing the naval instruction campaigns, it also aims to exchanging practical expertise between different structures involved in the field of logistic support and standing on challenges linked to naval instruction campaigns implementation by predicting perspectives of organizational procedures development in order to contribute to developing the logistic system within the Naval Forces.
This seminar was an opportunity to exchange expertise and knowledge between different structures active in the logistic field. It ended with a set of specialized recommendations aiming to improving mechanisms of planning, coordinating and developing adopted models and procedures which ensures the consolidation of the Naval Forces operational readiness.
