Within the framework of the humanitarian missions and efforts of the Naval Forces Command Coast - Guard units, related to human lives rescue at sea, and following the receipt by the National Center for Maritime Surveillance and Rescue Operations at sea of the Coast-Guard National Service in April 3^rd, 2026 at 11:10am, of an urgent medical evacuation request from a commercial ship called "ANGELINA THE GREAT N" bearing Marshal Islands flag, coming from Greece and heading to Spain, localising in (18) nautical miles in North Dellys/Boumerdes, It is about a 53 years who had an injury.
     Immediately, and in coordination with the Regional Center for Surveillance and Rescue Operations at sea Algiers/1^st MR, a medical evacuation operation at sea was launched throughout the engagement of Research and Rescue Helicopter “AS-12” of the 560^th Squadron of Research and Rescue Helicopters, the Filipino sailor was immediately evacuated to Zeralda hospital to receive the necessary treatment.



     This operation falls within the framework of the humanitarian missions of the Naval Forces Command Coast-guard units, which reflect the efforts and how careful they are in intervening in order to save human lives at sea in all circumstances.
