A rescue operation of two persons after the rubber boat capsized in North Aïn Turk/Oran
     As part of the humanitarian missions and efforts of the Coast Guard units of the Naval Forces Command related to saving human lives at sea, and following the reception by the Regional Maritime Surveillance and Rescue Operations Center in Oran / Western Maritime Front of the 2nd Military Region, On March 5th, 2026, at 12:35 p.m, of a distress call reporting the capsizing of an inflatable boat carrying three (03) persons, 300 meters off Corales Beach / Aïn El‑Turck – Oran.
     One person managed to swim safely to shore, while the other two were carried offshore by the waves.
     Immediately, a maritime rescue operation was launched involving Coast Guard rescue boats and the search and rescue helicopter « LS‑16 » from the 560th Search and Rescue Helicopter Squadron. Both individuals were rescued, including one in a very critical condition, and were evacuated to the Medjber Tami Public Hospital in Aïn El‑Turck.
