The Naval Forces Commander in a work and inspection visit to the Central Maritime Façade units/1stMR
Mr. the Major-General Mahfoud BENMEDDAH, Naval Forces Commander paid a work and inspection visit to different units of Central Maritime Façade/1stMR, in February 09th, 2026, where he stood on the level of units’ combat readiness and the personnel and material state of readiness. This visit falls within the framework of inspection visits included in the combat preparation program 2025-2026.
In the beginning, Mr. the Major-General, Naval Forces Commander, accompanied by the Central Maritime Façade Commander, headed to Algiers’ Naval Base/1stMR where he was received by the Naval Base Commander. After that, Mr. the Major-General Naval Forces Commander held a meeting with some Commanders of the Central Maritime Façade where he followed a comprehensive presentation on the level of operational readiness of its units where he gave a series of instructions and directives related to the necessity of preserving the readiness in its higher levels.
