The Naval Forces Command organizes information days on the Naval Forces in Djelfa
In implementation of the People’s National Army plan for 2025-2026 and within the framework of enhancing the links between the People’s National Army and different society components throughout the whole national territory, the Naval Forces Command organizes in January 13th and 14th, 2026 information days at the territorial information center in Djelfa « Chahid Dahmane Ahmed » 1st Military Region.
Mr.The Major-General Commander of the twelveth mechanic infantry in the name of Mr. the Major General First Military Region Commander supervised the opening of this event with the presence of civil local and military authorities and representatives of the national media.
This event aims to enable the public to know different roles and operational missions the Naval Forces undertake in protecting the national maritime space and maintaining the state’s strategic interests at sea and highlighting the equipments and capacities utilize in performing its missions and the importance of the maritime security in supporting the national economy and facing the current challenges.
The manifestation program includes fairs of modern maritime equipments and audiovisual shows documenting the course and achievemnts of the Naval Forces in addition to direct communication spaces with the public in which specialized personnel answer the visitors’ questions with the presentation of explanations on training courses and opportunities available to youth willing to engage in the Naval Forces ranks.
This manifestation falls within the communication strategy of the People’s National Army Higher Command aiming to consecrate the « Army-Nation » link and to anhance the public comprehension of the important role undertaken by the Naval Forces within the national defense system.
