The Naval Forces Command headquarters organizes the third scientific day of the naval medicine
    Within the framework of implementing the 2025-2026 annual directive procedures of the People’s National Army preparation, the Naval Forces Command organized in February 16th, 2026, the third scientific day of the naval medicine at the Naval Forces Command headquarters “Chahid Souidani Boudjemaa”.
    Mr. the Major-General Mahfoud BENMEDDAH Naval Forces Commander supervised the opening activities of this scientific day with the presence of officials and specialized officers from different components of the People’s National Army notably those acting in the military health field in addition to the participation of officials of the Central Directorate of the Military Health, the Medical Expertise National Center for Navigators Personnel and Chiefs of Specialized Examinations Centers.

  

  

    This scientific day aims to deepen the scientific and professional debate on the naval medicine specificities particularly the fields of subaquatic and hyperbaric medicine, high-pressure oxygen therapy, medical expertise of navigators personnel and medical insurance for diving accidents in addition to valorizing the acquired expertise within the framework of abroad training to the military health personnel, and exchanging knowledge between different actors in the military health field.

  

  

    This meeting was an opportunity to present and debate different organizational and logistic challenges and difficulties related to medical insurance especially at the Naval Forces units with the presentation of a set of suggestions aiming to improving the sanitary performance and ensuring the personnel safety while executing missions.

  

  

  

  

  

    The scientific day ended with reading recommendations, which insisted on the necessity of pursuing this kind of specialized scientific meetings due to their important role in enhancing the health readiness and raising the level of operational medical care which guaranties the personnel safety and the performance efficiency during different naval missions.
