The Director of Formed Units at the National Gendarmerie Command presided over the graduation ceremony of the 9^th class of contracted non-commissioned officers specializing in Road Safety on June 13^th, 2026, at the National Gendarmerie Road Safety School of Aïn M’lila, “Martyr Guarabsi Saâdi,” for the 2025/2026 academic year. The graduating class was named in honor of the heroic martyr Ajerroud Abdelwahab. Throughout their training program, the students received military and professional instruction that enabled them to acquire the skills required to perform their future duties in the field of road safety with efficiency and professionalism.      The graduates completed a two-year training program. The first year was devoted to basic military training at the National Gendarmerie Non-Commissioned Officers School in Setif, while the second year focused on specialized training in road safety at the National Gendarmerie Road Safety School in Aïn M’lila. During the 2025/2026 academic year, the school also provided training for several classes in various specialties, including the Second-Level Professional Military Qualification in Road Safety, the Second-Level Professional Military Qualification for Road Safety Instructors, and the First-Level Professional Military Qualification in Road Safety (second session).      The training program culminated in the administration of the legal oath on June 6th, 2026, qualifying the graduates to hold the status of Judicial Police Agents and enabling them to contribute to investigative missions within the scope of the authorities legally granted to them. At the conclusion of the graduation ceremony, the family of the heroic martyr Ajerroud Abdelwahab was honored in recognition of the sacrifices made by the noble martyrs of the Nation and as an embodiment of the values of loyalty and gratitude that the National Gendarmerie is committed to upholding. The event also featured the signing of the school’s Golden Register to commemorate the occasion.
