On June 21^st 2026, Major General, Commander of the National Gendarmerie, presided over the graduation ceremony of National Gendarmerie officer classes at the National Gendarmerie Higher School of Zeralda “Martyr Mouaz M’hamed”, marking the conclusion of the 2025–2026 academic year. The graduating classes included:

The 29^th Command and Staff Course Class – National Gendarmerie.

The 11^th Command and Staff Course Class – Logistics Specialty.

The 69^th Officers Improvement Course Class.

The 7^th Specialized Training Class for Career Officers Students.

The 59^th Specialization Course Class for Career Officers Students.

The 8^th Career Officers Students Class – Third Year (LMD), Law and Public Security License Degree.

     The ceremony started with the inspection of the graduating formations assembled on the parade ground by the Commander of the National Gendarmerie. This was followed by the awarding of ranks, certificates, and honorary distinctions to the top graduates, after which the newly graduated officers took the oath of office.      The event was further distinguished by a series of military and sports demonstrations reflecting the high level of qualification and training attained by the trainees. These included close-combat (kuk sool won) demonstrations, motorcycle displays, karate performances, arrest and apprehension techniques, as well as physical strength and breaking exercises. The demonstrations highlighted the discipline, professionalism and cohesion acquired by the graduates throughout their training.
     The displays concluded with a parade of the officers and officer cadets before the official reviewing stand, presenting a vivid illustration of precision in execution and perfect coordination of movements reflecting the professional skills and operational capabilities acquired during their training.      On the sidelines of the ceremony, the Commander of the National Gendarmerie, accompanied by the invited official delegation, visited the scientific exhibition organized for the occasion. He reviewed the latest equipment and technologies employed in criminal investigations, scientific and technical expertise as well as projects related to the digitalization and modernization of work systems across the various units of the National Gendarmerie.
     At the conclusion of the visit, the Commander of the National Gendarmerie honored the family of the late Mujahid “Cheloufi Mustapha”, after whom the graduating classes were named, in recognition of his sacrifices in service to the nation. He then signed the School’s guest book before bidding farewell to its staff and personnel, commending their efforts and wishing them success in carrying out their missions.
