In implementation of the communication plan of the year 2021/2022, approved by Mister Lieutenant General, Chief of the People's National Army Staff, the Republican Guard Command organized information days, respectively, in Bejaia, Tamanrasset and Saïda, in presence of military and civil authorities, as well as the national media family and the citizens of the concerned wilayas.

     

The wilaya of Bejaia was the first to house this event in the period from 20^th to 24^th February 2022, at the Cultural House "Taous Amrouche". The official opening was chaired, on behalf of the 5^th Military Region Commander, by the Wilaya Military Sector Commander.

The second station was the wilaya of Tamanrasset who housed this media activity, during the period from 06^th to 10^th March 2022, at the Culture House “Dassine Tamnrasset”. The official opening was given, on behalf of the 6^th Military Region Commander, by the Air Commander.

Saida, was the third wilaya to host this media activity, during the period from 20^th to 24^th March 2022, at the Culture and Art House "Khalef Mostapha". The official opening was chaired, on behalf of the 2^nd Military Region Commander, by the Wilaya Military Sector Commander.

     

  

This media activity aims to allow citizens enquire more about the different components of the Republican Guard as well as its missions and specialties, highlight the brand image of the Republican Guard Command by highlighting the great successes realized within the framework of the development and modernization program of the Republican Guard, which allows to build a strong national union, expected to entrench the consolidation and rapprochement spirit between the people and his army, amid the key role of the national media in creating efficient communication channels.

These information days knew a significant turnout of the public, fact that reflects the esteem of the people towards its army, as well as its desire to inquire more about the various components of the army and its constitutional missions.

It should be noted that this media activity included featured workshops that highlight the various specialties of the Republican Guard; military music, horse riding protection and special intervention, as well as photos exhibition and the projection of documentary films highlighting the various missions and activities. A particular intention has been given to the opportunities offered to young people who wish to access the Republican Guard.

The organization of this kind of media manifestations serves as a link between our fellow citizens and our Army, between our media and our Armed Forces. It’s a science, cultural and communication space through which our fellow citizens, specially, the youth category enquired about one of the important components of the People’s National Army, namely, the Republican Guard, arm of authenticity and martyrdom
