In execution of the annual combat preparation directive for the year 2025-2026, approved by Mister the General, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of Staff of People’s National Army, the Republican Guard command organized on May 5^th, 2026 a medical-veterinary seminar entitled ''One health: equine health & professional health, crossed challenges'', at the conferences room of the headquarters of the Republican Guard Command, with the participation of professors and specialist doctors, representatives of specialist national military and civilian structures, as well as the honorary presence of members of Serbian military delegation.

  

      The opening and closing of this seminar were supervised by Mister the Major-General, Commander of the Republican Guard, who emphasized in his speech that this seminar constitutes an open scientific space to debate and knowledge exchange. It is also an opportunity to strengthen the cooperation between veterinary doctors, researchers and those interested by the equine field.

      Furthermore, it allows them enhancing their knowledge and their theoretical and practical experiences, throughout the expertise exchange and by adopting of new approaches and methods in this field, thus insuring an ideal working environment and optimal veterinary coverage for our equine heritage.

  

      The scientific event was hosted by specialists from military and civil specialized structures, in the field of medicine and veterinary medicine. It took the form of lectures focusing essentially on strengthening health prevention for animal resources, as well as protecting veterinarians, horse riders and assistants exposed to constraints related to the equine environment, in addition to exchange experiences and knowledge regarding equine reproduction strategy and its future perspectives.

    

      At the end, the guest speakers were honored with certificates of appreciation and souvenir photos were taken.

      It should be noted that the Republican Guard Command has put in place all the human and material resources to ensure the success of this seminar.
