Within the framework of the implementation of the annual program of national and international military sports activities for the 2025/2026 sports season, approved by Mister General, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, the Republican Guard Command organized on February 10th, 2026, the international day of military sports "friendship through sports", it took place on the cantonment Chahid "Mohamed BELOUIZDAD", for the personnel of the Central Structures and the Headquarters Group. As for the rest of the units of the Republican Guard Command, the race took place at their headquarters and under the direct supervision of their commanders.

      The kick-off of this race was given by Mister the Major-General, Inspector of the Republican Guard, announcing that the opening of this event is part of the military activities dedicated to the periodic assessment of physical and sporting readiness of the personnel’s level. This occasion was characterized by a high competitive spirit among participants in deferent ages group. This competition also reflects the great importance that attaches the Republican Guard Command to practicing sport in the military environment, considering it as one of the fundamental pillar to enhance the physical and moral aptitudes of the personnel, as well as their qualifications and skills in addition to boosting their morale.

   

      In conclusion, the winners were honored with symbolic gifts and encouragement medals under the supervision of Mister the Major-General, Inspector of the Republican Guard, in an atmosphere marked by complete harmony among all participants.
