![]() In execution of the annual directive of the combat readiness of the Republican Guard Command for the year 2021/2022, approved by Mister Lieutenant General, Chief of Staff of People’s National Army, the Republican Guard Command organized during the periods from 16th to 19th February 2022 and 23rd to 26th February 2022, at the Military Riding Centres of Blida and Cherchell/1st Military Region, and from 02nd to 05th March 2022, at the Military Riding Centre located in Oran/2nd Military Region, equestrian and training days on horse riding within the Republican Guard, under the theme: "the horse riding within the People’s National Army, between the mainstream of its practice, the specialities of its environment and the diversity of its specialities". ![]() ![]() The organization of this kind of communicational activities aims at revitalizing the existing military equestrian structures, by mainstreaming the practice of the horse riding within the People’s National Army, for the benefit of the military personnel, the cadets of the Nation as well as the young categories. Through this, we will have contributed to the reinforcement of the steps working towards the opening on the national equestrian scene, the consolidation of the Army-Nation link, the development of the military, historical, sports, therapeutic, cultural, social and patrimonial dimensions of the horse riding, in order to exchange experiences, share the know-how, and master certain techniques of handling emergency cases in equine medicine. All these objectives converge in the interest of the High Command of the People’s National Army in the enhancement of this civilizational heritage, closely linked to the customs and traditions of our valorous ancestors, to the rank of elite and excellence. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() At the end, it should be noted that the presence of horses in the Republican Guard's parade activities for the President of the Republic and his fellow Presidents and Kings is more than necessary.
