In implementation of the annual program of national and international military sports activities for the 2021/2022 sports season, approved by the Mr Lieutenant General, Chief of Staff of the People's National Army, on August 24^th, 2021.

The Republican Guard Command organized on January 06^th, 2022, the national day of cross of the People's National Army, considering this event as one of the national military activities concerning the periodic evaluation for the physical and sports preparation.

     

The kick-off of this sports event was given under the command of the Brigadier General, Chief of Division of the Schools of the Republican Guard Command at the level of the "Chahid Mohamed Belouizdad" Cantonment, for the personnel of the Central Structures, the Headquarters Group, the 11^th Cavalry and Escort Regiment, the School of Music, Equestrian Complex and Sports Complex of the Republican Guard Command, in parallel with the rest of the units of the Republican Guard Command.

     

This edition saw a large participation of male and female military personnel.

At the end of this sporting event and under the command of the Brigadier General, Chief of Division of the Schools of the Republican Guard Command, medals and trophies were awarded to the winners of both sexes according to ages and categories, and this, in an atmosphere marked by cohesion among the participants.
