Within the framework of execution of the annual program of national and international military sports activities for the year 2025/2026, approved by Mister the General, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of People’s National Army, the Republican Guard Command hosted the National Military Taekwondo Cup, during the period from April 19^th, to April 23^th, 2026, at the Sports Grouping Center of the Republican Guard Command «El Moudjahid Zouaoui Tayeb», with the participation of 15 teams (Males and Females) representing the different Forces Commands, the Military Region as well as the different Military Formations and Commands Structures.

      The opening and the closing ceremonies of this National Military Cup were headed by Mister the Brigadier General, Chief of Transmission Division of the Republican Guard Command, who emphasized in his speech that the military sport is a pillar of training and an essential effective means for the physical and mental preparation of fighters, urging all participants to demonstrate a high sporting spirit.

      The organization of such sports events reflects the attaches of the high Command of People’s National Army to the various activities, and its willingness to train competent athletes in all disciplines, whom can represent the People’s National Army with strength and honor in various national and international ceremonies.

• - 1^st place, Staff Sergeant MERDASSI Nacir from 2^nd Military Region Command;
• - 2^nd place, Lance Corporal FELLAG Ali from Air Forces Command;
• - 3^rd place, Staff Sergeant AGOUNE Youcef from R.G.C with C Caporal MSEKEM Amer from 5^thMilitary Region Command.

• Under 30 years category:

• - 1^st place, Sergeant SAADAOUI Abderahim from R.G.C;
• - 2^nd place, Caporal BADI Aymen from 4^th Military Region Command;
• - 3^rd place, Lance Corporal HENDAI Said from A.F.C with Sergeant HAMMOUDI Aymen from N.F.C.

Individual ranking (females):

• Under 40 years category:

• - 1^st place, APC KAID Zhour du A.T.D.F.C;

• Under 30 years category:

• - 1^st place, Non Commissioned Officer Cadet METIRI Nourelhouda from 2^nd Military Region Command;
• - 2^nd place, Sergeant HAMDANI Bahidja from 1^st Military Region Command;
• - 3^rd place, Staff Sergeant ABID Hayet from N.F.C.

Ranking according to the teams (males) :

• - 2^nd place, the 1^st Military Region Command;
• - 3^rd place, the National Gendarmerie Command and the 2^nd Military Region Command.
