Within the framework of the implementation of the annual program of national and international military sports activities for the year 2025/2026, approved by Mister the General, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of Staff of People’s National Army, the Republican Guard Command hosted, during the period from May 17^th to 24^th 2026, at the Sports Regrouping Center, The National Military Boxing Cup, with the participation of (17) teams representing the different Forces Command, Military Regions, Directorates and Services, Major Units And Higher Schools of the People’s National Army.

   

       The opening and closing ceremony of this competition, were headed by Mister the Brigadier General, Chief of Common Services Division of the Republican Guard Command, who emphasized in his opening speech that: “the relationship between physical fitness and the fighter soldier is interconnected and inseparable, the military cannot be a fighter unless he has a high excellent physical condition, which is essential to him, whatever the evolution of weapons which is a fundamental element in the training of the fighter and his permanent availability …”.

   

      During the closing of this event, Mister the Brigadier General congratulated all the participants and speakers, for their efforts made, aiming at making this sporting event a success, as well as for the high level and sportsmanship demonstrated by the boxers.

      At the end of the sporting meeting, cups were awarded to the winners, and symbolic souvenir gifts were presented to presidents of the technical refereeing and organizing committees on this occasion, as well as to the heads of the participating delegations.

• - 2^nd place: Administration and Common Services Management /MND team;
• - 3^rd place: National Gendarmerie team.
