Within the framework of the execution of the annual program of national and international military sports activities for the 2021/2022 sports season, approved by Mister Lieutenant General, Chief of Staff of the National People's Army, the Republican Guard Command organized, on February 17, 2022, the international day of military sports "Friendship through sports".

  

The kick-off was given by Mister Major-General Inspector of the Republican Guard at the Republican Guard Command "barracks Chahid Belouizdad Mohamed", for the personnel of the central structures, the Headquarters Group, the 11th Cavalry and Escort Regiment, the Music School, the Equestrian Complex and the Sports Complex. As for the rest of the units of the Republican Guard Command, the race was run at their headquarters and under the supervision of their respective chiefs.

It should be noted that the International military sports day "friendship through sport" is considered as one of the national military activities that aim at periodically evaluating the physical and sports combat readiness. Consequently, this sporting event was well attended by both sexes.

  

At the end, and under the aegis of Mister Major General, Inspector of the Republican Guard, cups and medals were given to the winners, in an atmosphere of high morale and perfect cohesion among all participants.
