Within the framework of the implementation of the annual national and international military sports activities for the season 2019-2020 approved by the High Command of People’s National Army, the Republican Guard Command organized on February 13th 2020, the national cross day "Friendship through Sport".

The kick-off was given by General, Republican Guard Chief-of-staff, at the headquarter of the Republican Guard Command "Chahid Belouizdad Mohamed", for the personnel of the central structures, the Headquarter Grouping, the 11th Cavalry and Escort Regiment, and the Music School.

At the same time, and with regard to the rest of the units of the Republican Guard Command, the cross was carried out at the security perimeters belonging to their headquarters and supervised directly by their respective commanders.

  

  

  

  

It should be noted that the national cross day "Friendship through Sport" is considered as one of the national military activities that aim to periodically assess combat readiness both physically and athletically.

This sport activity has known a large participation of the male and female military personnel.

At the end of this sport event and under the aegis of General, Republican Guard Chief-of-staff, the winners of different age categories and ranks received awards and prizes, in a harmonious ambiance and a spirit of good sportsmanship.

The closing ceremony was chaired by General, Inspector of the Republican Guard, through which awards were given to the winners of different age categories and ranks.
