Some parties and spokespersons of discord have relayed through their subversive pages and accounts on social networks unfounded allegations, professing that the actions and operations carried out by the military institution, both internally and externally, respond to agendas and instructions from foreign parties, and that the People's National Army is preparing to send troops to take part in military missions outside our national borders under the hat of foreign powers and within the framework of the G5 Sahel, which is false and inadmissible. These intoxications can only come from ignorant people at the service of the Moroccan Makhzen services and Zionist.

      To this end, the Ministry of National Defence categorically denies all these tendentious allegations and underhand manoeuvres, through which their authors believe they can sow disorder and destabilise the country, and reassures public opinion that the People’s National Army, a worthy heir to the National Liberation Army, has never been, and will never be subject in its actions to the authority of no other than the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, and in accordance with his explicit constitutional missions and the laws of the Republic, in the defence of national sovereignty, integrity and security.

      The Ministry of National Defence also wishes to recall that the participation of the People's National Army outside the country's borders is a decision of the Algerian people, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic.

      Therefore, we welcome the discernment of our citizens, aware of the conspiracies and schemes that are being plotted against Algeria, which are now known to all and in the supreme interest of the Nation, we call on them to be more vigilant with regard to the fake news being peddled, they desperately aim to harm the stability of our Nation.
