Lieutenant General, Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People's National Army, presides over a ceremony in honour of the national military selections members "Airborne Section" and "Cynotechnical"
Lieutenant General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People's National Army, presided this morning Monday, 13th September 2021, at the Ministry of National Defence headquarters, a ceremony in honour of the national military selections members "Airborne Section" and "Cynotechnical", having participated in the 7th edition of the International Military Games which took place, respectively, in Russia and Algeria, from 22nd August to 4th September 2021.
The ceremony was attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defence, the Commanders of Forces and the National Gendarmerie, the Commander of the 1st Military Region, the Controller General of the Army, the Chiefs of Departments, as well as the Central Directors and Chiefs of Services of the Ministry of National Defence and of PNA General Staff.
During the ceremony, the Lieutenant-General delivered a speech, during which he underlined that he wished to personally preside over this symbolic ceremony, to testify the confidence of the High Command of People's National Army in the capabilities of its military athletes and their firm determination to honour their country in the concert of nations:
"I wanted to be present among you today to preside over this symbolic ceremony, organized in honour of the national military selections members " Airborne Section "and" Cynotechnical", to testify the confidence of the High Command of People's National Army in your capacities and your firm determination, which comes from your love for the country and your permanent concern to honour it in the concert of nations. Indeed, you are two young teams, faithful to the Army and to the homeland and it is this sense of national duty and responsibility that we are constantly working to anchor in the staff of PNA, worthy heiress of the National Liberation Army, all categories combined”.
On this occasion, the Lieutenant-General addressed to the members of the two selections his warmest congratulations, for the sustained efforts they have made during this international military competition, urging them to show integrity, of sacredness of work and fidelity to the homeland and to move forward to achieve, in the future, better results, which meet the expectations of People's National Army, both nationally and internationally:
"Further to the remarkable participation of the national military selection" Airborne Section ", of the 7th edition of the international military games, which took place from 22nd August to 4th September 2021, in Russia, it is pleasant for me to address you, at the name of the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, my warmest congratulations, for the great efforts you have made during this international military competition, in order to obtain positive results, which honour you and which also honour PNA and Algeria. This is a very encouraging achievement, for which you deserve the highest praise and sincere thanks.
I also take this opportunity, to present to the members of the national military cynotechnical team, as well as to all the executives and organizers of the International Military cynotechnical Competition "Faithful Friend-2021", hosted, for the first time, by Algeria, within the framework of the international military games, organized each year by the Russian Federation, my warmest congratulations and thanks, for the sustained efforts, made by everyone, to make this military sporting event international successful one, notably through the creation, in record time, of the Breeding and Cynotechnical Training Centre of the National Gendarmerie of Baïnem. As such, I urge you to take advantage of the organization of this first tournament in our country, as well as the lessons and from the previous participations, in order to improve performance and overcome the shortcomings recorded, in anticipation of the possible organization, in the coming years, of tournaments in this discipline or in others.
Finally, I urge you all to show integrity, sanctity of work and loyalty to the homeland and to move forward to achieve, in the future, better results, which meet the expectations of our Army, both nationally and internationally and which confirm our aptitudes, as Algerians, to preserve the brand image of our dear country and to give it the place it deserves among nations and peoples”.
At the end of this ceremony, a commemorative photo was taken in the memory of this event.
