On behalf of the President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of Staff of People's National Army, presided, on Saturday, 13th December 2025 over the official installation ceremony of the Brigadier General Ibrahim ABBAS as the Central Director of Army Security:

      "On behalf of the President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, and in accordance with the Presidential Decree of 8th December 2025, I officially install the Brigadier General Ibrahim ABBAS to the position of Central Director of Army Security, replacing the previous Director" Brigadier General Mahrez DJERIBI.
      Therefore, I order you to work under his authority, to follow his orders and execute his instructions, in the interest of the service, in accordance with the military regulations in force and the laws of the Republic, and demonstrating fidelity to the sacrifices of our valiant martyrs and to the values of our glorious Revolution.”


      This occasion provided the General an opportunity to give the officers of this sensitive Directorate a set of instructions and guidelines, emphasizing the need to make even greater efforts dedicated to the service of the nation and to demonstrate unwavering commitment to carrying out assigned missions with all the necessary rigor and perseverance.
      At the end, the General supervised the signing and approval ceremony of the official handover report.
