Operational Report of PNA from 26th November to the 02nd December 2025
Within the dynamic of the sustained efforts in the fight against terrorism and multifaceted organized crime, units and detachments of People's National Army conducted several operations between 26th November and 2nd December 2025, yielding high-quality results that reflect the professionalism, vigilance, and constant readiness of our Armed Forces throughout the national territory:
Within the framework of the fight against terrorism and thanks to the efforts of People's National Army units, the terrorists known as "G.A." (aka "Abou Djaffer") and "H.C." (aka "Al-Cherif") surrendered to the military authorities in Adrar and In Guezzam, they were in possession of one (1) machine gun and three (3) Kalashnikov-type submachine guns, a quantity of ammunition, and other items.
In the same context, detachments of People's National Army arrested four (4) elements of support for terrorist groups in various operations across the national territory.
Within the framework of the fight against organized crime and continuing efforts to combat drug trafficking scourge in our country, combined detachments of People's National Army, in coordination with various security services, intercepted 30 drug traffickers during operations carried out across the Military Regions and thwarted attempts to smuggle 1993 kilograms of treated kif from the borders with Morocco, while 1,425,734 psychotropic tablets were seized.
In Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, In Guezzam, Illizi, and Djanet, detachments of People's National Army arrested 344 individuals and seized 29 vehicles, 244 generators, 133 jackhammers, as well as quantities of raw gold and stones mixture, and equipment used in illegal gold mining operations. In separate operations, 14 other individuals were apprehended, and a Kalashnikov-type submachine gun, seven hunting rifles, 103,300 litres of fuel, 25 quintals of tobacco, and 10 tons of foodstuffs intended for smuggling and speculation were seized.
Furthermore, the Coast Guard thwarted illegal emigration attempts on the national coasts and rescued (63) individuals on board artisanal construction boats, while (270) illegal immigrants from various nationalities were arrested throughout the national territory.
