Operational Report of PNA from 03rd to the 09th December 2025
Within the dynamic of the sustained efforts in the fight against terrorism and multifaceted organized crime, units and detachments of the People's National Army conducted several operations between 3rd and 9th December 2025, achieving significant results that reflect the high level of professionalism, vigilance, and constant readiness of our Armed Forces throughout the national territory:
Within the framework of the fight against terrorism, detachments of People's National Army arrested ten (10) elements of support for terrorist groups in various operations across the country.
Within the framework of the fight against organized crime and continuing efforts to combat drug trafficking scourge in our country, combined detachments of People's National Army, in coordination with various security services, intercepted 59 drug traffickers during operations carried out across the Military Regions and thwarted smuggle attempts of 26 quintals and 15 kilograms of treated kif from the borders with Morocco, while 19 kilograms of cocaine and 455,658 psychotropic tablets were seized.
In Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, In Guezzam, Illizi, and Djanet, detachments of People's National Army arrested 276 individuals and seized 28 vehicles, 299 generators, 221 jackhammers, 3 metal detectors, as well as quantities of raw gold and stones mixture, and equipment used in illegal gold mining operations. In separate operations, 15 other individuals were apprehended, and one Kalashnikov-type submachine gun, five hunting rifles, 6,570 litres of fuel, and 7.5 tons of foodstuffs intended for smuggling and speculation were seized.
Furthermore, the Coast Guard thwarted illegal emigration attempts on the national coasts and rescued (392) individuals on board artisanal construction boat, while (351) illegal immigrants from various nationalities were arrested throughout the national territory.
