Within the framework of border security efforts and within the fight against smuggling and organized crime, and following up the operation of 27th January 2026, in the Ghenama region, wilaya of Béchar, 3rd Military Region, which resulted in the elimination of three armed drug traffickers of Moroccan nationality and the arrest of a fourth of the same nationality, in addition to the seizure of a firearm, a pair of binoculars, and 521 kilograms of treated kif.


      A combined force from Béchar Military Sector in the 3rd Military Region seized a quantity of treated kif estimated to 280 kilograms yesterday, 2nd February 2026, in the same region, bringing the total amount of teated kif seized during this operation to over 8 quintals.

      This significant quantity seized in a short period of time and in the same border area demonstrates the scale of the threats targeting our country and its youth.

      This successful operation confirms, once again, the high level of vigilance of People's National Army units, with all their components, and their readiness to confront any form of threat.
