Within the framework of the efforts deployed by units and detachments of People’s National Army to preserve the security, unity, and stability of our country, 2025 was marked by the achievement of significant operational results in the fight against terrorism and multifaceted organized crime. These results confirm the effectiveness of the approach adopted by the PNA High Command in this area and reflect the high level of readiness and professionalism of our armed forces.

      In the context of the fight against terrorism, our Armed Forces neutralized (67) terrorists, arrested (369) support elements, discovered and destroyed (12) bunkers and shelters used by terrorist groups, and recovered (104) firearms, (13) artisanal craft bombs, and quantities of ammunition of various calibres.




      As part of the fight against organized crime, the various units of the PNA have intensified their efforts to combat the scourge of drug trafficking in our country, resulting in the arrest of (2,354) drug traffickers and the thwarting of the introduction of (35) tons of treated kif from the borders with Morocco, while (934) kilograms of cocaine and (40) million psychotropic tablets were seized. Similarly, these high-quality operations resulted in the arrest of (18,744) individuals and the seizure of (498) firearms and (1,747) vehicles, as well as (7,633) jackhammers, (12,574) generators, (280) metal detectors, (2,638,000) litres of fuel, (1,850) quintals of tobacco, and (1,298) tons of foodstuffs intended for smuggling and speculation, during separate operations across the country.




      Furthermore, combined detachments of People's National Army apprehended (24,071) an illegal immigrants from various nationalities throughout the country.
