Within the framework of Algerian-Italian military cooperation, Major General Mohamed Salah BENBICHA, Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defence, received the Vice Admiral Ottaviani GIANCINTO, the National Director of Armaments, today, Tuesday, 27^th January 2026, at the Garrison Circle of Djanet (4^th Military Region). The meeting preceded the 16^th session of the Algerian-Italian Joint Cooperation Committee, dedicated to military-technical fields and the defence industry.

      The two parties discussed several issues of common interest, particularly military-technical fields and defence industry.
