The official visit of General Said Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of People's National Army Staff, to the Sultanate of Oman continues on its fourth day, Wednesday, June 3
rd, 2026. On this occasion, the General visited the Military Technical College, accompanied by the Chief of Staff of the Omani Armed Forces, where he was received by the College Director, Brigadier General Ahmed bin Khalfan Al-Haddidi.
At the outset, the General received a detailed briefing on the missions assigned to this leading training institution, as well as its role in the training and qualification of Omani national talent. The General then toured the College's various facilities, where he learned about the modern methods employed in the fields of technical training and qualification, as well as engineering. These methods are in line with the rapid technological developments characterizing the technological field and thus contribute to the preparation of qualified human resources ready to meet the challenges of tomorrow. Following this visit, the two parties exchanged symbolic gifts.
Subsequently, the General and his delegation visited the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, a true architectural masterpiece of remarkable singularity. It embodies a rich Arab-Muslim heritage, bearing witness to the noble and authentic origins of a brotherly people and their deep-rooted cultural and civilizational traditions.
The General also visited the Royal Opera House in Muscat, also considered a leading institution in the field of arts and culture, and a vibrant cultural center, dedicated to strengthening the dialogue of civilizations, and which hosts the most prestigious national and international musical, operatic and theatrical performances.
