Dr. Ammar Abderrahmane, Professor of Information and Communication Sciences at the University of Algiers 3, animated on 25^th November 2025 a lecture for the benefit of Land Forces Command's personnel at the conference room of the Head Quarter/LFC, entitled : «Media challenges in light of deepfake». During the lecture, he addressed the definition of deepfake and its dangers in light of technological development. He also highlighted the challenges posed by Artificial Intelligence and its role in disinformation of public opinion through falsified media content. Furthermore, the professor showcased all the means to stop the propagation of deepfake, especially when facing disinformation campaigns and their risks to the credibility of information.
