Within the framework of inspection visits to the various Military Forces and Regions during this sacred month of Ramadhan, Mr.Lieutenant General CHANEGRIHA Saïd, Chief of Staff of People's National Army, paid a working and inspection visit to the Land Forces Command, on Thursday, April 21st, 2022, where he was welcomed by Mr. Major-General, Ammar ATAMNIA, the Land Forces Commander.
After the reception ceremony, Mr. the Lieutenant General, Chief of Staff of the People's National Army, stood next to Mr. Major-General, Land Forces Commander, in moment of silence at the memorial of the martyr «DIDOOUCHE MOURAD», whom the Land Forces Command Headquarters is named after him, and recited Fatiha to his soul and all the brave martyrs before laying a wreath at it.
After that, Mr. the Lieutenant General held a meeting with staff and personnel of the Land Forces Command at the Conferences room of the Head-Quarters/LFC, Mr. the Lieutenant-General issued a directive speech, through which He confirmed at the beginning that the People's National Army continues fulfilling a vast and ambitious program to modernize and revamp the capabilities of its combat component:
«The People's National Army continues, under the guidance of Mr. the President of the Republic, Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, and within the frameworks of his constitutional tasks, the execution of a vast program to modernize and revamp the capabilities of its combat component in order to be in its best competence and operational readiness. Which in return, it will overcome National Defence's challenges and perform its tasks optimally».
Mr. the Lieutenant-General stressed that Algeria will know, if need be, how to respond firmly to those tempted to jeopardize the inviolability of its boundaries, its territorial and popular unity, and its national sovereignty:
«But Algeria will know, in return, how to respond, and firmly, to those tempted to jeopardize the inviolability of its boundaries, its territorial and popular unity, and its national sovereignty. And it will continue, steadfastly, in its glorious path and authentic project to be what it wants for itself, not what it is wanted to be».
At the end of the meeting, Mr. the Lieutenant-General gave a number of instructions and guidance that aim to elevate the performance of our Land Forces. In addition to that, he also listened at length to the insights and proposals of the personnel.
