in a work and inspection visit in the 5th Military Region
Within the framework of his inspection visits, Mr. Major General Ammar ATAMNIA, Land Forces Commander, carried out on 15th and 16th of February 2023, a working and inspection visit to some units of the Land Forces in the 5th Military Region, he first visited the headquarters of the 5th MR, where he was welcomed by Mr. Major General, Commander of the Region, who presented him a briefing on the security situation and the operational readiness of the Land Battle Forces units.
During this visit, that included the 1st Armour Division at Barika and some units of this Division as well as the 7th Armoured Brigade at Teleghma, Mr. Major General the Land Forces Commander inquired about materiel, the infrastructures and the operational readiness and he gave some orientations and instructions, urged all the responsibility centers to be permanently vigilant and to raise the caution degrees to the highest level, and to take the operational measures targeted to increase capabilities and operational readiness of the Land Battle Forces units.
