Major General Ammar ATAMNIA, Land Forces Commander, carried out from 16^th to 23^rd October 2023, a working and inspection visit to the Land Forces units in the 6^th Military Region.

During this visit, that included the units deployed across : the Operational Sector in Bordj Badji Mokhtar, the Operational Sector In Guezzam, Tinzaoutine, and the Operational Sector Ain Salah, Major General Land Forces Commander, reviewed the operational readiness of the Land Battle Forces units, and gave a number of instructions and recommendations On the need to redouble the efforts to execute the combat preparation programs to promote the combat capabilities and operational readiness.

    

This visit coincided with the sixty-second (62) anniversary of the massacres of October 17^th, 1961, on this occasion, Major General, Land Forces Commander, observed a minute's' silence to pay tribute to El Chouhada of the demonstrations, at the Operational Sector in Bordj Badji Mokhtar.
