As part of bilateral military cooperation with Tunisia, and on the sidelines of the 17th session of the Algerian-Tunisian Mixed Committee, which is tasked with the following up and monitoring the implementation of military cooperation, Mr. Major General ATAMNIA Ammar, Land Forces Commander, welcomed on December 6th , 2023, the chief of staff of the Land Forces of the Tunisian Armed Forces, Mr. Lieutenant General ELGHOUL Mohamed, at the headquarters of the Land Forces Command.
A welcoming speech was pronounced by Mr. Major general Land Forces Commander, in which he expressed the deepness and the quality of the historical fraternal relations and the common destiny that the two countries share, as well as the remarkable state of bilateral military cooperation between the two armies, particularly in the field of Land Forces.
From his part, Mr. Major General chief of staff of the Land Forces of the Tunisian Armed Forces expressed his honors being with his Algerian brothers, and he gratefully addressed his thanks for the warm reception and all the care provided for him in Algeria, reiterating to the historical strong connections, the geographical neighborhood and the Tunisian Command's will keep strengthening deeply the dual relations, in particular the cooperation and the exchange of information on the prevailing situation and its impact on the region.
The visit was concluded by signing on the guest book, followed by exchanging gifts. The Tunisian delegation was greeted on her departure by MR. Major General, Land Forces Commander.
