The Instruction Centre of Field Artillery (French acronym: CIAC) was initially created as an annexe of the Instruction Centre of Combined Arms of Batna before being installed in Ain Arnat, then in Boughar to be transferred to Boussaâda and attached to the School of Field Artillery. In 1993 it became Instruction Centre of Field Artillery having for missions the instruction of the contractual ranks men and of contingent in various specialities of the systems of artillery arms.
In January 1995, the CIAC was created as independent structure.
