The Instruction Centre of the Infantry was created in 1975 in BOGUAR, and then transferred to Djelfa in 1977. In 1989, it was renowed by the name: "Centre of Specialised Instruction" then "Instruction Centre of Infantry" in 1997.

The centre situates in MOUILAH in the commune of M'LILIHA, 25 km in the East of the county of DJELFA.
