General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff PNA on a working and inspection visit to the 1st Military Region
The General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People's National Army carried out, this Thursday, 11th August 2022, a working and inspection visit to the 1st Military Region, where he closely examined the final preparations for the International Military Competition "Airborne Section-2022", which will be held in our country during the current period from 15th to 27th August. On this occasion, the General has also supervised the inauguration of some new infrastructures
After the welcoming ceremony presented by the Major General, Commander of the 1st Military Region, the General, accompanied by the Major General, Commander of the Land Forces and the Central Directors of the Ministry of National Defence and the General Staff of People's National Army, followed a presentation delivered by the Major General, Commander of the Land Forces, the General Supervisor of the organization of the International Military Competition "the Airborne Section -2022", providing ample explanations on the organizational aspects relating to this important sporting event. On this occasion, the General gave a set of instructions to the organizing committee, focusing in particular on the imperative of making available all necessary human and material resources and meeting all the conditions to be able to ensure the success of this international event.
At the end, the General went to the Regional Complex of Military Sports in Blida, where he attended the last training sessions of the opening ceremony, and closely followed all the scheduled demonstration then, supervised, at the Army’s Regional Circle in Blida, the opening to the public the historical and cultural military fair.
Afterwards, the General supervised with the Director of National Service, the inauguration ceremony of the Regional Directorate of the National Service headquarters, where he inspected its various departments and offices, before supervising, in the company of the Director of Social Service, the inauguration of the Army’s Garrison Circle in Blida, where he visited its various infrastructures. on this occasion, the General insisted on the imperative to ensure the safeguarding of this important achievement.
At the end of the visit, the General, Chief of Staff of People's National Army laid the cornerstone of the Psycho-pedagogical Centre for Children in Blida in the 1st Military Region.
