Following the fires that broke out in the forests of the wilaya of the east of the country, namely El-Tarf, Souk Ahras, Skikda, Bejaïa, Sétif, Jijel and Annaba in the 5th Military Region, the High Command of the People’s National Army has mobilized helicopters belonging to the Air Force to take part in the firefighting operations, especially in inaccessible areas, which is a great support to the action of the National People’s Army detachments on the ground, to overcome the fires in the various forest zones and the villages affected.


      The People’s National Army and as part of its noble humanitarian missions, and despite the strong winds that prevent helicopters from intervening in some areas, will spare no effort and will make available all its human and material means until these fires are extinguished.
