Lieutenant General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of PNA on a working and inspection visit to the 3rd Military Region
Within the framework of his visits to the various Military Regions, in this sacred month of Ramadhan, the Lieutenant General, Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People's National Army carried out, this Thursday, 28th April 2022, a working and inspection visit to the Central Operational Sector in the 3rd Military Region.
After the welcoming ceremony, by the Major General Mostefa SMAALI, Commander of the 3rd Military Region, the Lieutenant General held a meeting with the executives of the Central Operational Sector. On this occasion, he delivered an orientation speech, followed by videoconference by all the personnel of the units of the Region, through which he underlined that People's National Army was and will remain the impregnable shield and rampart of the Nation, and that it is fully aware of the magnitude of the challenges and issues to be met, particularly in the light of the developments recorded in our regional and international environment:
“People’s National Army was and will remain the impregnable shield and rampart of the Nation, just as it will remain the guardian of the greatness of the country, the defender of its borders and its sovereignty and the guarantor of its security and stability.
Steeped in patriotism and popular by its origins, this Army carries out its missions in the light of the orientations of the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, being fully aware of the scale of the challenges and issues to be met, particularly in the light of the developments recorded in our regional and international environment, the repercussions on the security and stability of the country are well known to our army”.
The Lieutenant General assured that People's National Army will remain the symbol of valour and bravery, but also an inexhaustible pool of loyalty and fidelity to the oath taken to our valiant predecessors:
“Protective shield of the country and guarantor of its sovereignty and independence, People's National Army ensures the maintenance of security and stability throughout the country. Committed to these efforts, with firmness and determination, it defends national borders and fights against terrorism and organized crime, and records exceptional results, on the ground, by demonstrating professionalism and efficiency.
These convincing results are the fruit of the professionalism achieved by our Armed Forces, as well as the combat capabilities and high operational aptitude they enjoy today thanks to the stages of development achieved by People's National Army at all levels and in all fields. This means that People's National Army is well aware that the preservation of the legacy of the Chouhada is the duty of all the faithful children of this country, at their head People's National Army, worthy heir to the National Liberation Army, which will forever remain the symbol of valour and bravery, but also an inexhaustible source of loyalty and fidelity to the oath sworn to our valiant predecessors”.
At the end of this meeting, the Lieutenant General followed interventions and suggestions of the executives and personnel of the 3rd Military Region units, and also issued a set of orientations and instructions bearing on the need to be more vigilant and watchful in order to meet all the challenges in this vital region.
