Lieutenant General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of the People's National Army, on a working and inspection visit to the 4th Military Region
Within the dynamics of his visits carried out, during this sacred month of Ramadhan, to the various Military Regions and Forces’ Commands of the People's National Army, the Lieutenant General, Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of The People's National Army carried out, this Saturday, April 23rd, 2022, a working and inspection visit to the South-East Operational Sector of Djanet - 4th Military Region.
After the welcoming ceremony by Major General Omar Tlemçani, 4th Military Region’s Commander, the Lieutenant General held a meeting with the executives of the Region, and delivered an orientation speech, followed via videoconferencing, by all its units, through which he conveyed the congratulations and best wishes of the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, for the occasion of the holy month of Ramadhan and his gratitude for the noble missions they are accomplishing with merit:
“I would like, on the occasion of this visit, to convey to you, who are deployed throughout the 4th Military Region’s territory, in the same way as your comrades in all the Military Regions, our deep gratitude for the painstaking efforts made so that our dear homeland and its brave people can enjoy peace and security.
Based on this principle, I made a point of visiting you in this sacred month, to convey to you the best wishes and congratulations of the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadhan, and his recognition for the noble missions you carry out, day and night, in difficult climatic and geographical desert conditions. I also wanted, through this visit, to inquire about your working and living conditions, and to listen to your concerns in which I personally take great interest”.
The Lieutenant General stressed on the fact that Algeria has all the factors for renewal and progress, hence the need to combine the efforts of all its children in order to achieve overall national development, allowing our country to rise to its rightful place among the nations:
“The peace in which we are privileged to live today is priceless. It is a peace that we must all preserve and strengthen, in the light of the project to consolidate the foundations of the National State, in a New, strong and prosperous Algeria; an Algeria that has all the factors for renewal and the ability to move forward, with new impetus and a firmer will. These are ambitions that require the federation of the efforts of its children, in all sectors, in particular that of the economic sector, the pillar of overall national development, which will drive our country to the rank it deserves among the nations”.
By the end of this meeting, the Lieutenant General issued a set of guidelines and instructions related, in short, to the improvement of the living and working conditions of the personnel, and to the need to raise the level of vigilance and alertness in order to overcome all the challenges along our vital national borders.
