Lieutenant General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of the People's National Army, on a working and inspection visit to the Air Force’s Command
Within the dynamics of his visits to the various Commands of the People's National Army, Lieutenant General, Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of the People's National Army paid, this Wednesday, 13th April 2022, a working and inspection visit to the Air Force’s Command.
After the welcoming ceremony held at the entrance of the Headquarters, the Lieutenant General, observed with the presence of Major General Mahmoud LAARABA, Air Forces’ Commander, a moment of silence in memory of Chahid Amirouche AIT HAMMOUDA, Commander of the historical III Wilaya. Knowing that the Command’s headquarters proudly bore his name. He laid a wreath of flowers in front of his commemorative stele and recited the Fatiha on his soul and on those of all our valiant Chouhada.
Subsequently, the Lieutenant General held a meeting with the executives and personnel of the Air Force’s Command, where he delivered an orientation speech that was followed by videoconferencing by the entire Command’s units throughout all the military regions. On this occasion, he emphasized on the fact that the continuous efforts made by the People's National Army’s High Command in enhancing the capabilities of our Air Forces, is based on the principle that air superiority is an operational requirement of very high importance for our country:
“The steps that we are constantly undertaking, within the framework of the enhancement of the capabilities of the People's National Army battle corps and the strengthening of inter-arms and inter-force inter-operability, require, today, more than ever, ensuring the continuous adaptation of the training of our Armed Forces to the geostrategic developments taking place on the regional and international arena.
Going from the principle that air superiority is an operational requirement of very high importance for our country, we have engaged all the necessary interest in it, in accordance with the guidelines of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid TEBBOUNE, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, through the qualitative training of human resources, and the providing of modern equipment”.
The Lieutenant General stressed on the fact that the mastery of modern equipment and its integration into the battle corps, will allow the achievement of the objectives set. As such, he urged the executives and various personnel to poor all their interest into the assigned missions:
“The mastery and integration of this modern equipment, as well as the appropriate use of the sophisticated tools made available, will allow the implementation of the objectives set, such as the increase in power of the operational capacities of the air units and the consolidation of managerial skills in the areas of planning, preparation and execution.
Thus, I would like to take this opportunity to urge you, as executives and personnel of the Air Forces’ Command, to grant the assigned missions all the interest needed, by assuming your tasks as best as possible can with a timely and genuine method, to achieve the highest performance, expected, whatever the conditions and circumstances”.
By the end of this meeting, the Lieutenant General gave a set of guidelines and instructions, aimed mainly at optimizing the performance of our Air Force, and gave the floor to the executives, in order to express their concerns and proposals.
