Within the framework of the fight against terrorism and thanks to the efficient use of information, detachments of People's National Army, one (01) terrorist surrendered, on 21^st December, 2022, to the Military Authorities of the Operational Sector of Bordj Badji Mokhtar in the 6th Military Region. This terrorist "MAHRI Ma-El Einine" known as "Aymen", who had joined the terrorist groups activating in the Sahel region in 2016, The terrorist had in his possession:

• One (01) submachine gun type Kalashnikov;
• Two (02) magazines with ammunition;
• Fifty-two (52) 7.62x39mm caliber bullets;
• One (01) Motorola MT-9000 transceiver station.

      These positive results achieved attest to the degree of mastery by our Armed Forces in carrying out their missions with efficiency and professionalism in order to establish security and peace of mind throughout the national territory.
