People's National Army units baptized in the names of the Mudjahideen and Chouhada of the Glorious Revolution of November
Within the framework of the commemoration of Chahid Day, coinciding with 18th February of each year, the headquarters of various units and structures of People's National Army were baptized, Thursday, 17th February 2022, in the names of the Mujahidine and Chouhada of our Glorious Revolution.
In this wake, the Major General SIDANE Ali, Commander of the 1st Military Region, supervised the baptizing ceremonies of the headquarters of the Central Military Health Support Establishment in Blida/1st MR and the headquarters of the 1st Regiment of Transport and Road Traffic, respectively, in the names of Chouhada “BENKARKOURA Ahmed” and “BENDALI Belgacem”.
The Major General SMAALI Mustapha, Commander of the 3rd Military Region, also supervised the baptizing ceremony of the headquarters of the 31st refrigeration and intendancy support depot in Bechar/3rd MR, in the name of the Chahid “BENHAMLILI Mustapha”.
Similarly, the headquarters of the establishment for the renovation and maintenance of armament and electronic systems in Boufarik/1st MR was baptized in the name of the Chahid “KOURABACHA Ahmed” in a ceremony chaired by the Major General SEDDIKI Smail, the Central Director of Materiel at the Ministry of National Defence.
On the other hand, the Major General AHCENE Slimane, Deputy to the Commander of the 6th Military Region, supervised the baptizing ceremony of the 64th Autonomous Infantry Battalion headquarters in In Guezzam/6thMR, in the name of the late Mudjahid “ AKHMOUK Ama”.
Moreover, the 11th Mechanized Infantry Regiment headquarters was baptized in the name of Chahid “CHRAYET Rabeh” in a ceremony presided over by the commander of the 1st Armoured Division/5th MR.
In the wilaya of Bouira, the regional commander of the national gendarmerie supervised the baptizing ceremony of the headquarters of the 29th intervention group of the National Gendarmerie in bouira/1st MR, in the name of the late Mudjahid “AMER Mohamed”.
In addition, in the 2nd Military Region, the commander of the 38th Mechanized Infantry Brigade supervised the baptizing ceremony of the headquarters of the 1st mechanized infantry battalion, in the name of the Chahid “MEBARKI Mohamed” known as “Lazrag”.
These ceremonies were attended by officers and executives, as well as local authorities, alongside the families of the Chouhada who were honoured on the occasion.
