Operational report of the PNA from February 09th to February 15th, 2022
Within the dynamics of the continuous efforts in the fight against terrorism and against multifaceted organized crime, units and detachments of the People's National Army carried out, from February 09th to February 15th, 2022, several operations that led to quality results. This reflects the high professionalism, vigilance and permanent availability of our Armed Forces throughout the national territory:
Within the framework of the fight against terrorism, detachments of the People's National Army arrested (09) elements of support to terrorist groups in separate operations across the national territory, while another detachment seized a batch of war ammunition amounting to (943) of different calibres, during a patrol in Djanet.
In addition, detachments of the People's National Army intercepted, in Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, Djanet and Tindouf (158) individuals and seized (14) vehicles, (196) generators, (137) jackhammers, quantities of explosives, detonation tools and other equipment used in illicit gold mining operations, while (20) other individuals were apprehended in their possession (13) hunting rifles, (37) quintals of tobacco, (28 036 ) units of different drinks and (2351) smartphones seized in Sétif, Batna, Constantine, Biskra, Laghouat, El-Tarf and M'sila. Similarly, the Border Guards thwarted attempts to smuggle quantities of fuel amounting to (33 490) liters in Tébessa, El-Tarf, Souk Ahras, Tamanrasset and Tindouf.

In another context, the Coast Guards thwarted, attempts at illegal emigration and proceeded to the rescue of (184) individuals on board of homemade boats, while (111) immigrants illegal immigrants of different nationalities were arrested in Adrar, Tlemcen, Nâama, Ouargla, In Amenas, El-Oued and Tindouf.
