Within the framework of the fight against terrorism and in continuity with the efforts of People's National Army Forces aiming to eradicating terrorism phenomenon from our country, and thanks to the efficient intelligence exploitation, detachments of People's National Army have shot down, on the morning of this Saturday, 19th February 2022, seven (07) terrorists, further to a search and combing operation carried out at the level of the forest of Oued Edouar, commune of Beni Zid, daira de Collo, wilaya of Skikda in 5th Military Region.

      This operation, still in progress, allowed the recovery of six (06) submachine guns type Kalashnikov, one (01) sniper rifle, considerable quantities of ammunition, means of communication, as well as clothing, medicines and other effects.


      This high quality operation comes to consolidate the dynamics of the positive results achieved by the various units of People's National Army, and confirms, once again, the high degree of permanent vigilance and disposition to thwart any attempt aiming to destabilize the security and the stability of the country, and the determination of our Armed Forces to track down these criminals and eliminate them, wherever they are, throughout the national territory.
