General, Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of the PNA presides over a ceremony in honour of the participants in the military parade
General, Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of the PNA, chaired this morning, Wednesday 06th July 2022, at the National School of Aeronautical Technicians in Blida - 1st Military Region, a ceremony in honour of the executives and personnel of the People's National Army who participated in the military parade organized yesterday for the occasion of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Independence Day and Recovery of our National Sovereignty.
At the beginning of the symbolic ceremony, the General delivered a speech through which he presented, on behalf of the President of the Republic, his most sincere thanks and recognition to all participants in the military parade for the sustained efforts they made, with dedication and selflessness, in order to make this historic parade a success, hailed by all Algeria’s friends:
“It gives me great pleasure, after the admirable success of the military parade organized yesterday in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Independence Day and Recovery of National Sovereignty, to present to you, at the name of the President of the Republic Abdelmadjid TEBBOUNE, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence and on behalf of all the personnel of the People's National Army, the warmest congratulations and the most sincere feelings of gratitude and of appreciation for the sustained efforts you made during all the stages of preparation and execution of this parade that will remain forever etched in the memory of our nation.
You actually demonstrated real talent during this event, a perfect success, in terms of discipline, high professionalism, cohesion and coordination of your performance and precision of formed figures, both on land, at sea and in the air. You spared no effort to make this historic parade a success through which you honoured yourself, your army and your homeland, Algeria.
The whole world witnessed the determination that animated the heart, the will you have shown during this parade, thus arousing the praise of many friends of Algeria who made a point of sharing with us our joy in this glorious commemoration, in recognition of the special place that our country occupies in their peoples’ hearts and its efficient contribution to establishing security and stability in the region, as well as its historic role in supporting just causes in the world.”
The General stressed on the fact that this parade carries strong messages of meaning, that translate that the armament of the People's National Army is exclusively intended for the defence of Algeria but also to contribute to peace and stability in the world under the aegis of the United Nations:
“We have thoroughly ensured that this imposing military parade lives up to the size and symbolism of this commemoration, the sacrifices of its children and the loyal commitment of those who preserved its legacy. But also to consolidate the internal front and the link between the people and their Army whose personnel are above all, the children of our valiant people.
We also wanted, through this celebration, to convey a highly significant message, translating the fact that the arming of the People's National Army is exclusively dedicated to the defence of Algeria, to the safeguarding of its borders and the preservation of its national sovereignty, but also to contribute to establishing peace and stability in the world under the aegis of the United Nations. In this regard, Algeria clearly expresses its will and determination to play a pivotal role on the regional and international scene, within the framework of international law.”
The General then reiterated his congratulations to the members of the commissions in charge of the preparations for this parade, while urging them to make more efforts with a view to accomplishing more exploits:
“While I reiterate my sincere congratulations, I will not fail to address all the members of the commissions in charge of the preparations for this parade, their Major General, 1st Military Region’s Commander, my sincere thanks for the considerable efforts made by all, to make this important military event a success.
I would also like to invite you all to carry on this path and to make greater efforts in order to accomplish more exploits that are in line with the ambitions of our Army, which is persistently working to contribute to the concretization of the aspirations and legitimate expectations of our people, and to confirm our ability, as Algerians, to preserve the greatness of our dear homeland and to restore it to its righteous place among the nations.”
By the end of this ceremony, the General presented certificates of honour to all the officers, non-commissioned officers and troopers who took part in the preparations and the execution of the land, sea and air military demonstrations.
