General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of PNA, presides over the award ceremony in honour of the Cadets of Nation, laureates of the Baccalaureate and the Middle Education Brevet, June 2022 session

      Following the remarkable results achieved by the Cadets of Nation in the baccalaureate and in the middle education tests, June 2022 session, the General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People's National Army, chaired this morning Thursday, 28th July 2022, at the level of the Army’s National Circle of Beni Messous, a award ceremony in honour of the Cadets of Nation, laureates of the Baccalaureate and the Middle Education Brevet, the ceremony was attended by Commanders of Forces and of the National Gendarmerie, the Commander of the 1st Military Region, the Chiefs of Departments of the Ministry of National Defence and of the General Staff of the People's National Army, as well as the Directors and Chiefs of Central Services, alongside the parents of the laureates Cadets and a number of executives and teachers from the Cadets of Nation Schools.

  

  

      This ceremony was in honour of the Baccalaureate and the Middle Education Brevet laureates Cadets, from all Cadets of Nation Schools, who obtained a success rate of 98.17% in the Baccalaureate and 100% in the Middle Education Brevet.

  

      On this occasion, the General delivered an orientation speech, followed, via videoconference, by the executives and the personnel of People's National Army, at the level of the Forces Commands and the six Military Regions. As such, the General sent his warmest congratulations to the Cadets, winners of these events, stressing that their honourable results constitute another proof of the interest devoted by People's National Army to young potentialities and skills, and by affirming its confidence in the future of our country, which has always drawn its strength from its children, who remain its true wealth.

  

      “Cadets, these honourable results obtained, constitute for us a real source of satisfaction, and are another proof of the interest devoted by People's National Army to young potentialities and skills, on which we rely in the future, to be at the forefront of the national elites, who will have the honour of carrying the torch of commitment to the service of Algeria and its defence, armed with science, knowledge, dedication and awareness.

      What I see right in front of me today as young elites, coming from the depths of our people, driven by feelings of pride in belonging to Algeria and love for the country, reassures me that the future is even better inchallah, and that there is no fear for the destiny of our country, which has always drawn its strength from its children, who remain its true wealth and its shield, in the face of the greatest challenges and issues.”


      The General stressed that People's National Army will continue to meet all the conditions, able to ensure the success of Algeria’s children, and to create an environment conducive to the continuation of development process of our country and the well-being of our brave people.

      “In this context, the positive results obtained at the end of each training year, as well as the significant increase in the educational levels achieved by the Cadets of Nation, both in the Middle Education Brevet and in the Baccalaureate, constitute another testimony to the development steps taken in this direction, but also to the relevance of the training approach adopted, in more ways than one.

      To come to the stages of development reached, it is important to emphasize that People's National Army, a worthy heir to the National Liberation Army, alongside the constitutional missions of defending the sovereignty of our country and its territorial integrity, that it accomplished with dedication and abnegation, will continue under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, to bring together all the necessary conditions, able to ensure the success of Algeria’s children, and to create an environment conducive to further development of our country and the well-being of our brave people.”


      Then, the General honoured the first laureates among the Cadets, by awarding them certificates of honour and gifts.

  

  

  

  

      At the end of this meeting, the General listened to a speech delivered by a Cadet, laureate of the baccalaureate, on behalf of his comrades, as well as interventions given, via the videoconference system, by the personnel from People's National Army, before taking a memory photo with the award-winning Cadets.
