Statement from the Ministry of National Defence
Within the framework of Algerian-Russian military cooperation activities, a detachment of warships from the Black Sea Fleet belonging to the Russian Navy, composed of the Hydrographic Vessel "KILDIN" and the Oil Tanker "Vice-Admiral PAROMOV" docked, this Sunday, 17th July 2022 at Algiers port.
This stopover, which will last until 19th July 2022, aims to strengthen bilateral military cooperation relations between our Naval Forces and the Russian Naval Forces, the exchange of experiences and coordination consolidation between the two armies.
It should be noted that after the docking of the detachment of ships, the Russian delegation was received by the Commander of the Central Maritime Façade.
