General, Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of PNA, presides over the installation ceremony of the General Director of Internal Security and the General Director of Documentation and External Security
On behalf of the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, the General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People's National Army, supervised, on Tuesday 19th July 2022, the official installation ceremonies of the Major General Djamel KEHAL as General Director of Internal Security and the Major General Abdelghani RACHEDI as General Director of Documentation and External Security.
At the beginning and at the General Directorate of Internal Security headquarters, the General supervised the installation ceremony of the Major General Djamel KEHAL as General Director of Internal Security in succession to the Major General Abdelghani RACHEDI:
"In the name of the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, and in accordance with the presidential decree of 13th July 2022, I officially install the Major General Djamel KEHAL as General Director of Internal Security in succession to the Major General Abdelghani RACHEDI.
In this regard, I order you to exercise under his authority and to carry out his orders and instructions in the interest of the service, in accordance with the military regulations and the laws of the Republic in force, and out of fidelity to the sacrifices of our valiant Chouhada and the values of our Glorious Revolution of Liberation.”
This installation ceremony was an opportunity for the General to meet with the executives of this sensitive Directorate, to whom he gave instructions and practical orientations, in particular, in terms of rigor in the accomplishment of the missions incumbent on them, and which require more persevering and loyal efforts, in order to carry them out perfectly. Finally, the General signed the minutes of the transfer of power.
Then, at the General Directorate of Documentation and External Security headquarters, the General presided over the installation ceremony of the Major General Abdelghani RACHEDI as General Director of Documentation and External Security in succession to the Major General Djamel KEHAL:
"In the name of the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, and in accordance with the presidential decree of 13th July 2022, I officially install the Major General Abdelghani RACHEDI as General Director of Documentation and External Security in succession to the Major General Djamel KEHAL.
To this end, I order you to exercise under his authority and to carry out his orders and instructions in the interest of the service, in accordance with the military regulations and the laws of the Republic in force, and out of fidelity to the sacrifices of our valiant Chouhada and the values of our Glorious Revolution of Liberation”.
This occasion was an opportunity for the General to hold a meeting with the executives of the General Directorate of Documentation and External Security, where he delivered a speech through which he gave instructions and orientations about, mainly, the imperative to show extreme vigilance and professionalism in the exercise of the assigned missions, urging them to redouble their loyal and dedicated efforts in order to be in phase with the accelerated geopolitical changes at the regional and international levels.
Finally, the General signed the minutes of the transfer of power.
