People's National Army units baptized in the names of the Moudjahidine and Chouhada of the Glorious Revolution of November
Within the framework of the commemoration of the Remembrance National Day, and the massacres of 8th May 1945, the headquarters of various units and structures of People's National Army were baptized in the names of the Moudjahidine and Chouhada of our Glorious Revolution.
For his part, Brigadier General ALI OUELHADJ Yahia, Commander of the National Gendarmerie, supervised the baptizing ceremony of the Special Intervention Detachment of the National Gendarmerie headquarters in Mahelma in the name of the Martyr Boualem Boussalem known as “Eldjamhouri”.
On the other hand, Major General SIDANE Ali, Commander of the 1st Military Region, supervised the baptizing ceremonies of the Territorial gathering of the National Gendarmerie headquarters in Blida/1st MR in the name of the chahid “Ramoul Tayeb”, of the Territorial Squadron of Road Security headquarters in the name of Chahid “Hadef Kouider” and of the 25th Intervention Group of the National Gendarmerie headquarters in the name of Chahid “Darbal Ali”.
While the 417th Anti-aerial Artillery Regiment in Borma/4th MR and the 49th Intervention Group of the National Gendarmerie headquarters, were baptized respectively: in the names of Chouhada “Babi Abdelkadar” and “Nouari Mohamed”, under the supervision of Major General TLEMÇANI Omar, Commander of the 4th Military Region.
In the 5th Military Region, Major General OUKID Djaafar, Deputy to the Commander of the 5th Military Region, supervised the baptizing ceremony of the 1st Support Regiment/1st Armoured Division headquarters, in the name of Chahid “Krid Ahmed”.
Similarly, the headquarters of the Military Sector in El-Bayadh/2nd MR was baptized in the names of the Chouhada “the brothers Amiri Mohamed and Abdelkadar” in a ceremony chaired by the Brigadier General BOUHHAMA Nassir, Chief of Staff of the 2nd Military Region.
These ceremonies saw the presence of officers and executives, as well as local authorities, alongside the families of the Chouhada who were honoured on the occasion.
