Lieutenant General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People's National Army, supervises the final training of the aerial demonstration and the execution of a sports parachute jump exercise, in the 1st Region Military

      The Lieutenant General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of People's National Army, supervised, this Sunday, 08th May 2022, at the Aïn-Oussera Air Base in the 1st Military Region, the final training of the aerial demonstration relating to the military parade, scheduled within the framework of the festivities of the 60th anniversary of independence celebration, and the execution of a sports parachute jumping exercise, carried out by the national military team, of both female and male genders, specialized in this discipline.

  

      At the beginning, and further to a presentation by the Commander of the Air Forces, about the general idea of the air demonstration, the Lieutenant General inspected the participating air formations, then, followed the final training of this demonstration during which our pilots achieved real feats, with high precision, rigorous respect for distances, and perfect coordination between the different types of aircrafts, when performing aerial figures, showing great skills and ability to master modern aircrafts with advanced technologies.

  

      Accompanied respectively by the Commanders of the Air Force and the 1st Military Region, the Lieutenant General closely followed the exercise progress which was attended by female students and cadets under the Military Academy of Cherchell and the School of Cadets of the Nation of Blida in the 1st Military Region.

  

      This exercise saw various demonstrations including, among others, a tactical jump executed by the national female military parachuting team, a mixed sports jump (ladies and gentlemen), a precision jump, a parachute folding demonstration. The demonstrations were carried out with high-level of professionalism and coordination, rightly reflecting the quality of the preparation and training of this team.

  

      At the end of the exercise, the Lieutenant General held a meeting with the crew members who took part in this aerial demonstration as well as the members of the national military parachute jumping team and expresses them his satisfaction with the level of preparation achieved, before greeting the professionalism shown by our pilots during the execution of the final training of the aerial demonstration:

  

      "Regarding the aerial demonstration, I would like to salute and highlight the high professionalism of our pilots who demonstrated perfect precision, rigorous respect for distances and total coordination between the various types of aircrafts when performing aerial figures, which demonstrate their high skills and ability to master modern aircrafts with advanced technologies".

      Moreover, the Lieutenant General expressed his consideration and his unfailing support for women serving within People's National Army ranks, for their dedicated efforts in various fields of arms profession, before congratulating the female athletes and their technical staff for the total success of the exercise, which is the fruit of the particular interest granted by the High Command of the People's National Army to women, exercising within the military institution:

  

      "On this occasion, I would like to congratulate all the athletes and the technical staff and the supervisors, for this successful exercise, which is the fruit of the particular interest granted by the High Command of People's National Army to women, exercising within the military institution, aiming to establish the principle of equality between its personnel, men and women, both in terms of rights and duties, and to consolidate the achievements guaranteed to women under the last amendment of the Constitution, initiated by the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, and acclaimed by the Algerian people, during the referendum of 1st November 2020".
