“Our meeting, today comes as our dear country prepares to celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of Victory Day, corresponding to 19th March of each year. This is a memorable anniversary date, where we celebrate a victory, which crowned the armed struggle led by our brave heroes, among the valiant Mujahideen and the brave Chouhada, since barbaric colonialism trod our holy land. This fight was bitter, but decisive, since it culminated in the outbreak of the Glorious Revolution of 1st November followed by the resounding of the victory.
On this occasion, I pray Allah the Almighty to grant our country the benefits of independence, security and stability, and to crown with success the efforts of People's National Army, deployed under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, increasing the power, at the height of the constitutional missions assigned to him”.
In the same context, the Lieutenant General saluted the dynamic momentum currently recorded by our country in the various fields, underlining the full availability of PNA High Command to continue to support and to provide the necessary support to the executives of the Higher School of War, in order to enable them to achieve the objectives set for this pioneering training centre.
“I would like to greet the dynamic momentum currently recorded in our country, marked by the achievement of a considerable number of exploits on the path of development, and the consolidation of achievements, in the different fields, political, economic, social and cultural. I am strongly convinced that these great achievements could not have been materialized on the ground, without the efforts made at all levels, by men imbued with patriotism and loyalty, whose only concern is to see Algeria progress and occupy its deserved place in the lap of nations.
If we are present, today, in this prestigious Military School, on the occasion of the installation of its new Director, it is to assure him and the School executives, our complete availability to continue on the path of accompanying them, providing them with the necessary support and following in their footsteps, with a view to enabling them to achieve the objectives set for this pioneering training centre, particularly with regard to bringing out highly qualified and holders of Algerian diplomas of higher military studies, an achievement of which we should all be proud”.
At the end of the ceremony, the Lieutenant General signed the School's Golden Book.
