Within the framework of the Algerian-Italian military cooperation, the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defence, Major General Mohamed Salah BENBICHA received, today, Wednesday, 02nd March 2022, at the Army’s National Circle in Beni Messous, Lieutenant General Luciano PORTOLANO, Secretary General of the Italian Ministry of Defence and National Armaments Director. The two parties co-chaired the works of the 12th Joint Algerian-Italian Committee for cooperation related to the defence industry, during which several issues of common interest were examined, particularly those related to military technical fields and defence industry.


      The works of the Algerian-Italian Joint Committee also were an opportunity to exchange views and consolidate cooperation and collaboration between the armies of the two countries.
